An app which launched just last year, called guavaVet, is opening up new ways to job search and recruit for veterinary professionals and practices. It allows both parties to enter their details and be matched with suitable applicants or positions and has now been updated so that all members of the veterinary practice team can access the app through one portal, making it even easier to use.

Dozens of high-performance lasers are needed to fill up the bandwidth and to squeeze in an increasing amount of digital data. Researchers have now shown that all these lasers can be replaced by a single device called a microcomb.
