Come to the Bury Works Employment, Health and Skills fair

Job seekers – do you need a helping hand to land that perfect job? Or funded skills support to further your career?

Job seekers – do you need a helping hand to land that perfect job? Or funded skills support to further your career?

And employers – do you want to boost awareness of your organisation? Do you want to fill vacancies? And do you want to meet training providers that can take your employees to another level?

If the answer to any of these questions is Yes, then come along to the Bury Works – Employment, Health and Skills Fair on Wednesday 16 March at Castle Leisure Centre, Bury (1pm to 7pm).

A number of employers, health and training providers will be exhibitors at the fair, from a variety of sectors. So far these include: Barclays, WSP, Compliance Training Limited, Cheetham Hill Construction, G4S, DWP, MANTRA, Alliance Learning, Paragon Meed, BEP Surface Technologies, Cranswick Continental Foods, Home Instead, Diamond Buses NW, and Winnington Financial Planning LTD.

Councillor Eamonn O’Brien, leader of Bury Council, said: “Bury is open for business, and we want to help employers and job seekers alike get the staff, the skills and the opportunities they need to ensure our borough flourishes. This event is designed to pull together in one place the support that residents need to find a new job, change career, and get advice in careers and training.”.
